After watching the 3hr long movie AVATAR at IMAX Melbourne, we were thinking of a place for lunch for the drive home. As we were driving down Bridge Rd, Mrs and I were both thinking of a restaurant we had visited in the past which we enjoyed. This was Niche. I had been here a few times with mum & dad years ago which was nice as well. I ordered the Chilli Scrambled Eggs with Chorizo and the Mrs ordered the Calamari salad. We both enjoyed our meals, the Mrs was happy to see a health amount Calamari which was cooked well . The salad was great as well, she enjoyed her meal. My Chilli eggs was nice as well. It would be nice to see chilli flakes on top as well to improve the overall look. The extra chorizo was excellent and they both went well together. The Mrs ordered a Tiramisu Iced Coffee which she loved but wishes it was in a taller glass to have more Iced coffee. I ordered a LLB which was great. It was a great stop on the way home with a great meal.

Went there for brunch, food is good. The staff is super friendly and happy to give recommendations. I like the idea of making their own hashbrows but I didn’t like the mustard seeds at all. Also, they tasted like they were fried in old oil, the same as the fritter. Coffee was amazingly good! I would come back but I would order something different.

Visited Niche on Bridge and tried the Chicken Fajita sizzling hotplate, which isn’t something you usually see at a café and it was a nice surprise. Came out hot with chicken, roasted capsicum, and all the extras — sour cream, avo, salsa, and three tortillas. Good flavour, solid portion, and fun to put together. I did wish they gave one or two more tortillas because I polished them off pretty quick. The hotplate kept everything warm, but it did get a bit greasy by the end. Tried a bit of the Nasi Goreng which had decent flavour and a nice kick, but it was also on the oily side — more than I’d like, especially after trying versions overseas that felt a bit cleaner. The calamari was a standout in terms of value — massive portion and cooked well. Overall, a good café spot with a bit of variety on the menu. Nothing over the top, but definitely worth a visit if you’re around the area.

We celebrated our daughter’s engagement at Mr Winston’s at Niche recently. The food, drink and service provided throughout the night by Daniel and his amazing staff was exceptional. We can’t recommend this venue highly enough.

Rode our bike here, grabbed a table outside. The food was so good! We are already considering coming back haha. There are some more on the menu we want to try out :) The coffees were SO GOOD! I super recommend this place! Love the Richmond Collingwood area, so many good brunch choices. We got here outside the lunch time window and we asked if we could still get the lunch menu item, they were very nice and said no problem. Really good service!

A very big thankyou to the staff - Michelle, Daniel, Katherine and Zofia - at Niche on Bridge Cafe/Mr Winston's Events who worked last night at our daughter's 21st party. Mr Winston's was the perfect venue for our event! Special thanks to Daniel who was fantastic in helping us organise everything from the moment we first made contact. We appreciated his suggestions and quick responses to our questions (via phone or email). Daniel made the whole thing super easy for us, especially when we met in person at the venue to confirm all the details, nothing was any trouble for him, thank-you. The staff working at our event last night, were also fabulous, very friendly, attentive and professional, so a big thank you to them from us too. We also had many comments from our guests on how delicious the food was. We all had a really great night and would highly recommend any event at Mr Winston's!
